The Director, the Manager, the work-package leaders of SIRIC SOCRATE and the Director of Gustave Roussy Research department are composing the steering committee. According to the topics, invited speakers are sometimes invited to contribute to the debate and share their experience to push forward the SOCRATE project. This monthly meeting allows for the assessment of the actions, the definition of new directions, adjustments, recruitments and investments needed to ensure the scientific and administrative consistence of the SOCRATE project.

SOCRATE PRESENTATION

siric-visuel-accueilThe SOCRATE program

The SOCRATE program covers three areas of research involving the integration of basic with translational and clinical research as well as social sciences on the same site. Every work-packages are co-directed by a clinician researcher and a fundamental researcher : the SOCRATE project aims at breaking barriers between clinical and basic research. This innovative structuration has the ambition to boost the emergence of new treatments for cancer patients in an unprecedented time scale.
